The Government of the Republic of Serbia has established a Coordination Body for Digitalization in the Health System, whose President is Prime Minister Ana Brnabić and Vice President is Minister of Health Danica Grujičić.
The document published in the „Službeni glasnik“ states that the Coordination Body will consider issues, make proposals and direct the work of state bodies in the field of digitization of the health system in the Republic of Serbia.
The goal is to achieve better and more efficient health care in the public and private health sectors, as well as to create favorable conditions for innovation, research and development in the state and private sectors.
The tasks of the Coordination Body are monitoring the implementation of the Program of Digitization of Health and Action Plan, supporting the creation of regulatory and institutional conditions for systemic development and improvement of the health system through digitization of the work and management process.
Members of the Coordination Body are also Minister of Finance Siniša Mali, Minister of Science Jelena Begović, Minister of Information and Telecommunications Mihailo Jovanović and director of the RFZO Sanja Škodrić, as well as director of the Office for IT and eGovernment Milan Latinović.
Expert support to the Coordination Body will be provided by the expert team, including the director of the Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution Jelena Bojović.
