The week behind us was marked by a visit of the Serbian delegation to Montreal and the ALL IN 2023 conference on artificial intelligence, the largest and most important AI conference in Canada this year, as well as a workshop of the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI). A member of the delegation as well was the project manager of the Centre, Dragana Šutović Ilić.
The Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) is a multi-stakeholder initiative aimed at bridging the gap between theory and practice regarding artificial intelligence by supporting cutting-edge research and applied activities on AI priorities.
The ALL IN conference brought together leading experts in artificial intelligence, industry members, startups, investors, and researchers to share their insights and explore how AI is transforming the economy. Speakers, panelists, and renowned researchers discussed key challenges related to the applications of artificial intelligence in areas such as healthcare, finance, manufacturing, supply chain management, retail, and the environment, demonstrating how artificial intelligence can revolutionize these sectors and enhance quality of life. Additionally, significant attention was devoted to the importance of better regulation and governance of AI to ensure responsible, fair, and equal access to AI for all.
The Serbian delegation included representatives from the Cabinet of the Prime Minister of Serbia, the Office for IT and eGovernment, the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, the Institute for Artificial Intelligence, the Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution of Serbia, the Embassy of Canada in Serbia, and the esteemed Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Canada, Dejan Ralević.
