In May 2022, the Government of the Republic of Serbia adopted the Action plan for the period 2022-2023 for implementation of the Digitalization programme for the Serbian Health Care of the Republic of Serbia for the period 2022–2026, which includes activities related to developing digitalization in health care in order to connect public, private and military health care institutions and contribute to enhancing the quality, efficiency and access to health care.

The action plan was adopted on the basis of the Digitalization Program in the Health System of the Republic of Serbia for the period 2022-2026. Plan is work of experts from the Working Group of the Coordinating Body for Digitization in the Health System of the Republic of Serbia.
