From November 25 to 30, 2025, the Autumn Economic Forum 2025 was held in Ho Chi Minh City, dedicated to the theme “Green transition in the digital era.” The Forum brought together government representatives, international organizations, global companies, experts from various fields, and Centres from the C4IR Network to explore how digital technologies can accelerate green transition and sustainable economic growth.
C4IR Serbia was represented at this international conference by our colleague Danijela Đukić, coordinator for International Cooperation.
Throughout the six-day Forum, participants took part in a rich program featuring sessions focused on advanced technologies, green innovations, and the development of smart ecosystems. The program opened with the GRECO 2025 exhibition, dedicated to green growth and innovations in AI and Industry 4.0, as well as the launch of WISE HCMC+ 2025 – Ho Chi Minh City’s innovation and entrepreneurship week.
The main part of the Forum included a plenary session with speeches from the Prime Minister of Vietnam and leaders in science, technology, and economics, along with keynote presentations on green transition in the digital era, the development of an intelligent economy, global supply chains, and megacity governance. Parallel sessions covered topics such as smart manufacturing, logistics, and the role of new technologies in sustainable development.
Participants also had numerous opportunities to engage in networking events with international experts, partners, and members of the C4IR Network.
For C4IR Serbia, participation in the Forum was an opportunity to present our national initiatives in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and the development of policies for the responsible use of advanced technologies. Through extensive discussions with colleagues from C4IR Vietnam and other Centres in the global C4IR Network, Danijela presented the work of the Centre and ongoing initiatives that Serbia is implementing in cooperation with the World Economic Forum, the EU, and domestic institutions.
These exchanges enabled the sharing of experiences and the opening of new avenues for collaboration, particularly in areas such as AI adoption, the development of smart and sustainable technologies, innovation infrastructure, and cross-sector partnerships. The insights and new partnerships brought from Vietnam will contribute to the further development of the Centre’s projects and to strengthening Serbia’s position in global initiatives focused on responsible and sustainable technology deployment.
