Open Data Institute (ODI) conducted research and compiled a report published in December 2023, resulting from the ODI-C4IR Serbia roundtable held in November of the same year. This report was authored by Mark Boyd, Miranda Sharp and Josh D’Addario. It includes a summary of the roundtable discussions, outlines the workshop’s approach, defines the event objectives, and sets priorities for future steps.

The report focuses on the potential use of health data to enhance healthcare outcomes, medical research, and public health initiatives in Serbia. Additionally, it identifies resources that can address challenges observed in other countries, defines the success of the health data ecosystem in Serbia, and proposes short-term and long-term next steps to improve the state.
