The Director of the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution since its establishment, with 20+ years of experience in public policies, public-private partnerships and digitalisation.
As an expert in the area of regulatory reform and implementation of local economic development policies, Jelena has worked since 2000 on reforming the legislative process for businesses, attracting investments, programmes supporting the economy and building partnerships between the public and private sector.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”10px”][vc_toggle title=”.” style=”arrow” color=”blue” custom_font_container=”tag:p|font_size:0px|text_align:left|color:%23ffffff|line_height:0px” custom_use_theme_fonts=”yes” use_custom_heading=”true”]She started her career in the International Republican Institute (IRI), after which she worked for five years as the team leader for local economic development in the USAID Programme for Support to Economic Municipal Development. During that appointment Jelena engaged in the development of more than 50 economic development strategies and institutional capacities for dealing with economic issues in more than 30 local governments. She worked at similar programs in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ukraine, Slovakia, Kyrgyzstan and Jordan. Since 2010, Jelena joined NALED, first as the Program Director and then as Policy Director. In recent years, she was engaged by the Government to manage development and implementation of Government digitalisation policies and programmes related to health care, including the national programme for health and health care digitalisation. She is a member of more than 10 Government’s working groups, working on tax legislation, public procurement, shadow economy, and other business environment issues.

Project manager of the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, having many years of scientific experience in the field of bioinformatics, is in charge of preparing and coordinating projects in the field of artificial intelligence and biotechnology.
Branislava has a Ph.D. in biology and more than ten years of experience in scientific research in the field of bioinformatics and has numerous important publications in leading international journals. She has participated in a number of research efforts focused on the use of machine learning in biomedicine, resulting in bioinformatics software tools.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”10px”][vc_toggle title=”.” style=”arrow” color=”blue” custom_font_container=”tag:p|font_size:0px|text_align:left|color:%23ffffff|line_height:0px” custom_use_theme_fonts=”yes” use_custom_heading=”true”]Branislava started her career in the Institute of Nuclear Sciences Vinča, and since 2021 she lectured at the Faculty of Stomatology Pančevo. At the Vinca Institute she managed project tasks within the national project of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, and within the CAFA consortium she was in charge of managing international cooperation with the United States of America. Until 2021 she was member of the managing board of the COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) action GREEKC. As a member of the Committee for Promotion of the Scientific Work of the Vinča Institute, Branislava participated actively in promoting science and raising awareness of the general public by mentoring secondary school students, organising the „Vinča Open Doors“ and coordinating scientific workshops for the general public. She participated in organising a great number of international scientific meetings and workshops and was the main organiser of the Belgrade Bioinformatics Conference 2021. Branislava joined the Centre in May 2022. Project Manager of the Center with senior experience with more than 18 years of experience in the non-governmental sector, who participates in the implementation and coordination of the Center’s projects in the field of health.
Dragana is a master of the second degree of study at the Faculty of Special Education and Rehabilitation, University of Belgrade. From 2005, she dedicated her career to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Serbia as a coordinator of a number of projects that were aimed at improving the quality of life of people suffering from MS in Serbia. During her career, she gained extensive experience in cooperation with the domestic health care system, pharmaceutical companies and patient associations.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”10px”][vc_toggle title=”.” style=”arrow” color=”blue” custom_font_container=”tag:p|font_size:0px|text_align:left|color:%23ffffff|line_height:0px” custom_use_theme_fonts=”yes” use_custom_heading=”true”]She has implemented several successful projects, including the mobile application “My MS World”, which is designed as a form of support for people affected by MS, as well as “Virtual MS Room” and “Patient in Focus”. She is a member of the Council of the International Platform for MS (EMSP) and the managing and executive board of the national organization Patients’ Association of Serbia. In addition, Dragana is the editor-in-chief of the magazine “Moj MS Svet”. Project assistant of the Centre who participates in preparation, organisation and implementation of project activities and the overall operation of the Centre.
Mirjana completed her graduate studies in International Relations at the Faculty of Political Sciences in 2018, and afterwards she received a master’s degree from the University of Belgrade from the study programme European Policy and Crisis Management, where she received the title of master of European studies. As a student, she was a member of students’ organisations and attended numerous seminars and training courses on the topics of diplomacy, human rights, youth policy, gender equality and the like.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”10px”][vc_toggle title=”.” style=”arrow” color=”blue” custom_font_container=”tag:p|font_size:0px|text_align:left|color:%23ffffff|line_height:0px” custom_use_theme_fonts=”yes” use_custom_heading=”true”]She did internships in the Centre for Research, Transparency and Accountability (CRTA) and the UN Women. She is an alumnus of the Serbian-American Academy for Leaders and the regional programme Dialogue for the Future implemented by the UNDP, UNICEF and UNESCO. Mirjana joined the Centre in April 2022. Nemanja completed his graduate studies at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences of the University of Belgrade in 2021, department of Management and Organization, earning the title of Engineer of Organizational Sciences. He is a master student at the same faculty, on the module Management of Business Processes. Danijela completed her graduate studies in Journalism and Communication at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade in 2020, earning the title of BA in Journalism. She is a master student on the module – International Security, at the same University. Jovana is an assistant lecturer at the Department for Computer Sciences and IT at the Mathematical Faculty of Belgrade, where she received her Ph.D. in bioinformatics. The key area of her scientific interest is the application of machine learning and biological data research. She has participated in a number of projects by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development and in a number of COST actions. Her lecturing activity includes courses in bioinformatics at the master and Ph.D. study programmes.
